Permalink Reply by Mark Brady on December 15, 2010 at 9:12pm I'm starting my food forest in the prairie of Central Illinois. It's going to be my first time with this whole gardening thing, as I'm 19, but whatever I'm super stoked! Those apple looking lemon cucumbers look gorgeous!
You guys have inspired me so much!
Permalink Reply by Max Floyd on December 15, 2010 at 9:34pm Ohh, fun! I'd love some Astragalus seeds. I've been wanting to grow it for a long time now, but this last season I was pre-occupied with Goji, Inca Berries, burdock and the usual cast of characters. It would be a blast to grow some Astragalus knowing it came from Blackbird and crew.
If you do send some my way I'd love to post some videos next season showing the growth process (and of course I'll mention the lovely people I got the seeds from).
My e-mail is maxfloyd21@gmail.com.
Permalink Reply by Amy De Wolfe on December 16, 2010 at 7:01pm Gorgeous stuff! Do you ship to Canada? Whether I win or not, I'm excited about this stuff and have big plans for some square foot or bucket gardening this summer. I live on rented property right now, so I'm looking to make the most of the small bit of direct sunshine we get in our back yard... Happily, we do get wild dandelion and nettles already... so hoping to add burdock, wild mountain spinach, holy basil, and arugula... love the info and instructions you've included in their listings! I also want to learn how to save seeds and store to spread some of these into the wild and our future home!

We are all so lucky to have you, Anthony and Andrea to spread such love in the form of seeds!
love you lots

Permalink Reply by Gabija on December 26, 2010 at 1:56am Wow thank you for being so generous! I would really like the Wild Salad mix. :)
The reason why I would like to grow it is because I totally believe that we as humans have completely disconnected with our home, the earth. I recently became raw a little less than a year ago and I am so passionate about connecting back with our roots. I'm only 17, but I have been educating all of my friends and family about raw organic foods. I have started a small garden in my backyard, too.
Your videos have inspired me so much, and because of them, I have been reading many books on organic gardening and permaculture and I am determined to create a food forest when I move out. Thank you so much for sharing your work on the internet. Every time I watch one of your videos, I just get very excited and inspired to grow more! :)
